Support duties related to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Reconciliation of daily labor for job costing and payroll
Coordinate and assist with monthly and year-end inventory cycle counts
Assist with preparation of monthly financial statements and reports
Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
Contact vendors regarding invoice differences
Follow-up with customers to ensure timely payments
Support Accounting department with other various tasks
Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit and Harlow Aerostructures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple responsibilities
Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
Demonstrates ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines
Knowledge of general accounting procedures
Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
Education and Experience Required:
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance or similar field. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience can be substituted.
1-3 years of relevant, hands-on accounting experience
