Review and analyze daily inventory transactions to ensure accurate inventory reporting
Calculate and record costs using actual costing method and FIFO inventory valuation
Maintain and update inventory schedules, verifying that schedules agree to General Ledger
Perform month-end closing, prepare journal entries as necessary, and roll inventory forward
Reconciliation of monthly sales and gross margin, by customer, part number and platform
Prepare, analyze and report monthly schedules to management
Provide management with detailed costing summaries for quoting and cost initiative purposes
Collect and organize special project costs and Research & Development costs, and prepare summary reports for management
Assist with coordinating physical inventory and monthly cycle counts, and reconcile any discrepancies found
Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit and Harlow Aerostructures
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet required deadlines
Must possess excellent computer skills
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Ability to apply knowledge of Generally accepted accounting principles & Cost Accounting Standards
Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data
Good written, verbal communication and collaborative skills
Highly Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Products
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Related field
2-3 years accounting in a fast-paced environment, preferred but not required
